Running recent rawhide kernels, my external monitor is reporting running at 720x400 during boot (both text and plymouth). Of course, I can force the resolution via 'vga=795' or 'vga=792', etc. on the boot line, but ..... Something perculiar about my system (Thinkpad X60)?
