Technically it's a bug in gcc, which is miscompiling the kernel and
putting a bug in the ext3 module. That ext3 problem causes rpm to
segfault.

Any kernel before 2.6.26-0.57 should be unaffected, and it should
(probably) be fixed in the kernel in tomorrow's rawhide (2.6.26-0.93).
