I just updated my f9 system today and running kdebase-4.0.5-3.fc9.i386 as my usual desktop with associated KDE4 apps. I notice that the facility to put icons onto the desktop or onto the panel by right clicking an item in kickoff gives me a desktop icon for both of these options! So I cannot get Firefox onto the panel.
