Change your 'method=XXX' line. It's probably something like: method=http://somehost.duh/fedora/path/9/Fedora/$arch/os change it to: method=http://somehost.duh/fedora/path/9/Everything/$arch/os *That* much will be fixed in preupgrade-0.9.4 (or later). Unfortunately that doesn't explain why preupgrade didn't download aalib.i386 in the first place.. -w
