how to run a script after wakeup from suspend

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Although not truly a 'rawhide' question (F8 right now),
I need to know where to stick a script so that it gets run
when my laptop comes out of suspend mode.

The problem is the infamous 'clicking disk' problem
(due to aggressive power management).

I have a script I run at powerup to disable the drive's power management,
but every time I open the lid after suspending, I have to manually
re-run my script, because I haven't found where to have it run automatically
and I keep forgetting to do it manually.

(Obviously, when coming out of suspend, the disk is 'reset'
and therefore needs to be re-configed every time.)

TIA
Fulko
