It appears that this is the real issue. A check on
http://rpmfind.net/ suggests that the library can be found on
sourceforge and it also brings this information: "This library is
require to run any software developped with Borland Kylix compiler".

It looks like all I had to do was cp all the lib* to /usr/lib or make a link and it works.
