Here is another bug triage opportunity!

Right now there are approximately 208 bugs in NEEDINFO for 'rawhide'.

http://tinyurl.com/6559fw

The bugs located by this query need to be reviewed to determine if they should remain in NEEDINFO or changed to ASSIGNED or CLOSED (other states could also apply).

o If a bug has been in NEEDINFO:reporter for less than 30 days -- no action should be taken
o If a bug has been in NEEDINFO:reporter for greater than 30 days:
--it can be set to CLOSED:INSUFFICIENT_DATA if the information requested of the bug reporter has not been provided and it appears no further work can be done without this information. --it can be set to ASSIGNED if the reporter has provided the requested information o If a bug has been in NEEDINFO:assignee (package maintainer) for more than 30 days, review the comments and ping the maintainer as appropriate to see what next steps can be taken. *DO NOT* automatically close NEEDINFO bugs waiting on a package maintainer.

If you come across a bug where you're not sure what to do, ask for help on #fedora-qa or reply to this mail with the bug number and someone will come to your aide :-)

Thanks for your help!
John

p.s. If you're looking for a bonus opportunity because everyone else beat you to the bugs above--here is a query which will locate all of the NEEDINFO bugs for Fedora 8 (currently 268 bugs): http://tinyurl.com/5kcwkf You can apply the same steps as above.

p.s.s. If you have been intimidated by bugzilla's interface and fear running your own query (I definitely used to be), check out how easy it really is by scrolling to the bottom of the query results and clicking on "edit search". Now you can search for your own favorite bugs to triage :-)
