Ok, here's more info on what I did and what went wrong: 1. I changed my /etc/fstab file to look thus: (see attachment). 2. I ran mkinitrd initrd-2.6.25-0.195.rc8.git1.fc9.i686.img 2.6.25-0.195.rc8.git1.fc9.i686 3. I rebooted the computer to 2.6.25-0.195.rc8.git1.fc9.i686 kernel 4. After a while these messages appeared (starting from first suspicious): EXT4-fs: dm0: not marked OK to use with test code. mount: error mounting /dev/root on /sysroot as ext4dev: Invalid argument setuproot: moving /dev failed: No such file or directory setuproot: error mounting /proc: No such file or directory setuproot: error mounting /sys: No such file or directory Mount failed for selinuxfs on /selinux: No such file or directory switchroot: mount failed: No such file or directory Perhaps I am missing some step that needs to be done first? Any thoughts what's wrong there? Thanks, Martin
