Until very recently, most/all kde builds in rawhide (and kde dev platform
builds for f7/f8) were inadvertantly built with debugging messages enabled. 
rawhide has been fixed, new builds for f7/8 coming soon.

In the meantime, using instead kdefoo >& /dev/null should work nicely.
