Didn't you see a "install to hard disk" icon on the desktop?
I think a realization that the live CD is really just made up of a smaller set
of the full Fedora package list is the key; you can install anything afterward
that you'd normally end up getting from the DVD install images. The end result
will be the same except for some system settings/defaults.
