I use rawhide (F9 beta) and I found only
/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.dist

but no hda-intel line in it?!?

Fedora 8 has:
/etc/modprobe.conf

but Fedora 9 beta doesn't !

Why? Because of Upstart?

Valent.
