So I'm feeling pretty dumb, like I should be able to figure this out by myself, but... The X keyboard bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434669 is said to be fixed and all is well. But there's clearly quite a few of us who still experience extreme paranormal phenomena whenever we try to use obscure keys like "up arrow" or "page down". The bug report is full of helpful comments like: As already written up-arrow = PrintScreen is new xorg's way of telling you you should configure evdev+evdev instead of kbd+pc105,jp106 or whatever There's also a pointer to this message: https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2008-February/msg02131.html which features lots of delightful XML stuff. Me, I'm a kernel-oriented guy, so I find the idea of mucking around with all that XML a little frightening. Surely we don't all have to do that just to make our plain old keyboards - which always worked - work again? </whine> Thanks, jon -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
