One of the problems that I had with kernel 2.4.24 was locking up my
Cisco Wireless card when starting network. I tried to see if the
wireless worked and the irq 3 error was broadcasted to the terminal.
After noting the broadcast to the terminal, I ran dmesg which showed the
below when the card was activated with s-c-network.
Is this a bug, a request for adding an additional parameter to the
kernel or just additional noise due to debugging enabled in the kernel?
The light was flashing on the wireless card so I assume it is working. I
did not try NetworkManager because I don't know or want to know my
neighbors passphrases.
