I also answered this in another thread. The problem is mkinitrd. It turns
out for now, you want to install 2.6.25 kernels while you are running a
2.6.24 kernel.

There is no need for that. Adding the info that it worked for you is useful.
I didn't take it to mean you were calling me a liar or anything negative.
