If you don't want any OS on your disks you can boot with the recovery CD
and run a destructive badblocks test.
More likely they are going to expect some version of Windows on the
laptop, if it came with one. In that case you may have a restore disk or
a hidden partition that you can use to put it back.
I am not sure what the easiest way to do things are if you are already
duel booting and want to change the master boot record to just boot Windows.
