Thanks but my solution was close but no cigar as it did make the usb mouse work but disabled the touchpad. Please have a look at the post by Andrew Farris <lordmorgul@xxxxxxxxx> in the same thread. He suggested the solution that makes both the usb and touchpad work. Based on his suggestion here's my working config: Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0 InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" InputDevice "USB Mouse" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Synaptics" "SendCoreEvents" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "USB Mouse" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "Auto" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Synaptics" Driver "synaptics" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Protocol" "auto-dev" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes" Option "SHMConfig" "true" EndSection -- Regards, Patrick -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
