Since Fedora 9 Alpha has been released, should we have
a new /etc/fedora-release version? i.e., 8.91 ?
[olivares@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/fedora-release
Fedora release 8.90 (Rawhide)
Or was it forgotten? I have two machines fully
updated, with the exception of the dhclient/* package
on one of my machines. The other still updated it.
Both my machines show 8.90, is it going to get bumped
to 8.91?
It was not updated. Version numbering may need a rethink, especially
since we're not doing "Test [123]" anymore.
I thought we had agreed on:
8.90 = post-F8 (pre-alpha) Rawhide
8.91 = Alpha
8.92 = Beta
8.93 = Preview Release
Is there any reason that wouldn't work?
