Hi,
I need to test a kernel-patch
(http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9491). I downloaded some
kernel-srpms and keep getting this:
+ mv kernel-2.6.24-i586.config .config
++ head -1 .config
++ cut -b 3-
+ Arch=i386
+ make ARCH=i386 nonint_oldconfig
.config:44:warning: trying to assign nonexistent symbol IPC_NS

.config:971:warning: trying to assign nonexistent symbol NET_ESTIMATOR
.config:1130:warning: trying to assign nonexistent symbol DGRS
....
I tried several srpms from Januar and December and every time happens
the same. In the first week on December I did the same process to
compile a rawhide-kernel on the same machine (to test an earlier patch)
and it worked flawless. Sadly I don`t remember the exact kernel-version.
Are the srpm all broken or is this a problem in my toolchain ? What is
the last buildable srpm ?

Are you attempting to follow (more or less) this process?
