Heads up... The dhclient.leases file format in /var/lib/dhclient has changed as of ISC DHCP 4.x.x. I'll clean up the postinstall scriptlet in the package to make sure old files are removed on package upgrade, but since 4.0.0-2.fc9 is already there, many of you are bound to hit this problem. If you upgrade to dhclient-4.0.0-2.fc9 and then try running it, you'll notice it segfaults immediately. It won't even display the usage screen. Clean out the /var/lib/dhclient directory to fix this problem: rm /var/lib/dhclient/* And then you can run dhclient (via ifup, manually, or via NetworkManager) again. A bug is already filed for this problem (#428785) and the -3.fc9 build will fix this issue. -- David Cantrell <dcantrell@xxxxxxxxxx> Red Hat / Honolulu, HI
