Oops , I sent an email instead of saying this here... My laptop had the same issue. If you are using the official NVIDIA drivers then the X server may not work. I had to switch to the NV driver (which is provided by Fedora) and that corrected the problem. I will try to re-install the official NVIDIA drivers http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_169.07.html If I have read correctly that the official NVIDIA drivers do work now David Mack wrote: > > After the most recent update, nv is toast: > > (EE) module ABI major version (3) doesn't match the server's version (4) > (EE) Failed to load module "nv" (module requirement mismatch, 0) > (EE) No drivers available. > > Dave > > -- > fedora-test-list mailing list > fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list > > -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Latest-rawhide-update-killed-xorg-nv-driver-tp14719796p14753929.html Sent from the Fedora Test List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
