Only one snag. I installed the rest of the bits and pieces of pulseaudio manually using pup (yum in fantastically quick now BTW ... thanks for the great work!) but pulseaudio does not start in Gnome logging in as my user account that existed before the upgrade. If I make a new user, pulseaudio works fine. I would imagine that there is some setting buried deep in my gconf or another config file that is in my home directory ... I just haven't found it yet. The GUIs for pulseaudio and sound config haven't revealed anything either.
