my experience with the fc6 -> f7 dist upgrade via yum

# yum update
download:
ca. 2 hours
yum == 1,3GB >1040 packages
ca. 200K/s ; dsl 2000
installation:
ca. 2,5 hours
yum.log: Oct 28 16:29:02 - Oct 28 18:53:53
you should evtl. stop cyrus-imapd before the db4-utils update.
stopping other services could evtl. speed up the process.
