Is there a sha1sum checkfile for the F8 boot.iso image
please? If I'm installing F8 from the minimal install
CD-ROM, I'd like to know that the image has downloaded OK.

The boot.iso is only used for bootstrapping the installer,
so if the install starts ok, you don't have to fear that
it will fail later,

But if you feel better, these are the sha1sums:

d9776551e21a0b9254d40c570d30cc0dee20704a i386/os/images/boot.iso
0010e8f31b73316d6581774ad8f3522fb432469c ppc/os/images/boot.iso
82a0e1e4814c22fea3719213827e34dbe13a64b8 x86_64/os/images/boot.iso

Thankyou for that Jos. My concern is if the kernel image was corrupted in some way, that could then cause the installation
to not complete correctly?

Kind Regards

Keith
