1. another package required a particular version of PA, and hence the
new one can't live with the old one ?
yum -d 10 update might give the info needed.
2. what archetectures are the PA package for:
rpm -q --qf="%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}\n" pulseaudio|sort
