I think I finally solved the Fedors booting problem on my
machine - the presence of a Freebsd 6.1 partition on one
of the drives. I removed that partition and now Fedora
runs normally.
The acid test will be the reaction of Fedora when I install
Freeebsd 7 on the offending partition.
