Just wondering if someone was going to write a howto on how to
correctly upgrade F7 to F8 via yum so that features like PulseAudio are
installed correctly?

I think pulseaudio may need some special attention. About a week or so ago I had to manually install pulseaudio-utils gstreamer-plugins-pulse pulseaudio-module-gconf alsa-plugins-pulseaudio pulseaudio-module-x11 and pulseaudio-libs-glib2 on my system tracking rawhide for audio to work.

When going from FC6 to F7 after the yum upgrade I remember having to do
something like 'yum groupupdate "GNOME Desktop Environment"' to get a
few things installed.

I would prefer to use yum to upgrade my machine, but I have the feeling
that if I do that some things won't be quite right.

Thanks,

Kevin
