- added info:

A kernel upgrade did seem to work better, after the F8t2, but later upgrades
crashed it all.  The problems have existed since Fc6.

At the moment - I see this connected to more then the disk-drive, and
the ACPI affects screen, touchpad, and other drivers, and program execution.

As I am just a user, no kernel-hacker, - you may understand my problem.
