I noticed some comments in dmesg to try 'pci=assign-busses' and 'pci=routeirq' to see if it resolved some issues. I've done this and noticed that I now see the following in dmesg: PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ routing PCI: Routing PCI interrupts for all devices because "pci=routeirq" specified ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:01.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1d.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1d.1[B] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1d.2[C] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1d.3[D] -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1d.7[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1e.2[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1e.3[B] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1f.2[B] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:1f.3[B] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:00.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:00.0[A] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:01.0[A] -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:01.1[B] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:01.2[C] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:03.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 There's nothing regarding pci=assign-busses now, but I'm not sure what this does. What should I do with this information? Would a full listing of dmesg be useful? R. -- "It's a fine line between denial and faith.
