When putting in the updates, I got the following as someone previously reported: /sbin/new-kernel-pkg: line 90: 4942 Segmentation fault $grubby --add-kernel=$bootPrefix/$kernelName-$version $INITRD --copy-default $makedefault --title "$title" ${mbkernel:+--add-multiboot="$mbkernel"} ${mbargs:+--mbargs="$mbargs"} --args="root=$rootdevice $kernargs" --remove-kernel="TITLE=$title" and still cannot boot to this newer kernel. Still have to use -0.139.rc3 kernel. [olivares@localhost ~]$ uname -a Linux localhost 2.6.23-0.139.rc3.git10.fc8 #1 SMP Sun Aug 26 19:53:26 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux [olivares@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa kernel kernel-2.6.23-0.142.rc3.git10.fc8 kernel-2.6.23-0.139.rc3.git10.fc8 [olivares@localhost ~]$ I have deleted and reinstalled this kernel two or three times and still cannot boot it. Is a newer one coming out that fixes the unbootability of this one?
