AFAICS mkinitrd-6.0.12-1.fc8 is seriously broken. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=261661 Reverting to mkinitrd-6.0.9-9 (that includes nash and libbdevid-python) allows me to boot again with initrd redone with those libraries. Still rawhide can be broken in any moment; it is its nature.
