If you can reproduce the problem then yes > please file a bug in bugzilla against fonts-japanese. $ rpm -q yum yum-3.2.3-2.fc8 but watch this: # rpm -qa 'fonts-j*' fonts-japanese-0.20061016-8.fc8 fonts-japanese-0.20061016-9.fc8 # rpm -e fonts-japanese-0.20061016-8.fc8 error: %postun(fonts-japanese-0.20061016-8.fc8.noarch) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 If you will try to remove with yum you will get: .... Removed: fonts-japanese.noarch 0:0.20061016-9.fc8 Complete! while this is really not the case. After 'rpm -e --noscripts fonts-japanese-0.20061016-8.fc8' you can do now 'yum update' and this does update fonts-japanese to 0.20061016-10.fc8 and installs for dependencies sazanami-fonts-gothic and sazanami-fonts-mincho without conflicts but again I am left with duplicate packages. A different pair but this does not help. So there is a problem but not where I thought. I will file that report. An info that you cannot reproduce gave me the clue. Thanks!
