I am not so sure. See what seems to be like a similar problem in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=253447 An update from compat-db-4.5.20-2.fc8 to compat-db-4.5.20-3.fc8 removes 'db4-devel' from "provides" and yum immediately bails out instead of checking if this cannot be resolved somewhere else (by db4-devel package in this case). Maybe this is a different problem but it looks awfully similar. > Ie, it's an existing condition from a previous (now fixed) yum bug. All that "compat-db mixup" happened with the current yum. No, there are no problems reported until you will try compat-db update. Clearly pretty easy to untangle with a "manual intervention". > If anyone seeing this could go add comments to that bug we can have the > info needed to make sure thats whats really happening. A cross-reference to 253447 seems to be in order. Will do. Michal -- fedora-test-list mailing list fedora-test-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-test-list
