-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Test Update Notification FEDORA-2007-1278 2007-07-26 22:51:24.037092 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : spamassassin Product : Fedora 7 Version : 3.2.2 Release : 1.fc7 Summary : Spam filter for email which can be invoked from mail delivery agents. Description : SpamAssassin provides you with a way to reduce if not completely eliminate Unsolicited Commercial Email (SPAM) from your incoming email. It can be invoked by a MDA such as sendmail or postfix, or can be called from a procmail script, .forward file, etc. It uses a genetic-algorithm evolved scoring system to identify messages which look spammy, then adds headers to the message so they can be filtered by the user's mail reading software. This distribution includes the spamd/spamc components which create a server that considerably speeds processing of mail. To enable spamassassin, if you are receiving mail locally, simply add this line to your ~/.procmailrc: INCLUDERC=/etc/mail/spamassassin/spamassassin-default.rc To filter spam for all users, add that line to /etc/procmailrc (creating if necessary). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: 3.2.2 minor bugfix release http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/spamassassin-announce/200707.mbox/browser Upstream's announcement includes details -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Jul 25 2007 Warren Togami <wtogami@xxxxxxxxxx> 3.2.2-1 - 3.2.2 minor bugfix release * Mon Jun 11 2007 Warren Togami <wtogami@xxxxxxxxxx> 3.2.1-1 - 3.2.1 CVE-2007-2873 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated packages: ad68dbb583b4e802b341e13ab32d57ce47805ac1 spamassassin-debuginfo-3.2.2-1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 64b06a4171611652af1f79aff8f491a060646d3d spamassassin-3.2.2-1.fc7.ppc64.rpm 6e76d0f462a93a49655d2b106f852ec94cbbbb3e spamassassin-debuginfo-3.2.2-1.fc7.i386.rpm 4b7d07fe2d762a7a958df22181aef2f3b1bb576b spamassassin-3.2.2-1.fc7.i386.rpm 89a4f6169de9ae009566bb1d7f3ccbbca81d73b5 spamassassin-3.2.2-1.fc7.x86_64.rpm b12e2433ac8f23b1ae7ced6fd281a1bac136e947 spamassassin-debuginfo-3.2.2-1.fc7.x86_64.rpm d6571d7acb68d69b2c8148915acb26647e0a6bf0 spamassassin-3.2.2-1.fc7.ppc.rpm 029d2a748933432e3cdd7cc03ce888a03469b5a5 spamassassin-debuginfo-3.2.2-1.fc7.ppc.rpm 33d5a099a825ffd21536a275b1dfdfc67f763c17 spamassassin-3.2.2-1.fc7.src.rpm This update can be installed with the 'yum' update program.
