I know it's "just another mailing list", but the announcements do go to
fedora-package-announce@ also.  So why not stop the emails to the main
chatting lists, and if you so desire to see updated packages via email,
subscribe to that list, and create a rule to go to a specific folder, or
whatever you want.  If you don't want to see them, then they aren't that
important and don't subscribe?

Just a suggestion...
