I couldn't get the live CD to work on the machines that I use for my
mail server and those machines don't have DVD drives.
If you have a spare partition that is not used in the installation you
can put the dvd iso-image on it. Then use the rescue cd to start the
installation, select hard disk method and point to the partition that
contains the iso image. this is also much faster than installing from
dvd drive.
