I just checked and /etc/modprobe.conf only has this:

alias eth0 e100
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-intel8x0 index=0
remove snd-intel8x0 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-intel8x0
# alias eth1 tg3
# alias eth1 bcm43xx

It appears the file ends immediately after "bcm43xx"

Weird and frustrating!

Hi Arch,

This used to happen for me when I had a load of whitespace after my
ndiswrapper lines in modprobe.conf although I thought a fix had gone in to
resolve it.

Try it anyway.

Cheers
Chris
