I've noticed that gnome-panel, gnome-panel-2.18.0-9.fc7, runs consistently at the top of top, consuming between 70-90% of the cpu. I do not see this behavior on FC6. Does the cpu utilization also include applets running such as NetworkManager? This seems excessive. Do others see similar cpu usage?
