Dear all, I am running rawhide and followup on thread where k3b does not recognize the other cd drive. I have found a way for fedora to recognize the drive. By putting in a data cd, fedora recognizes the drive and both drives show up on k3b. If the cd drive is empty, then only one drive is show. Without CD inside drive, k3b returns System ----------------------- K3b Version: 1.0 KDE Version: 3.5.6-3.fc7 Fedora QT Version: 3.3.8 Kernel: 2.6.21-1.3116.fc7 Devices ----------------------- TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D SB03 (/dev/scd0, ) [CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL] [DVD-ROM, DVD-R Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Jump, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite, DVD-RW Sequential, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD+R Dual Layer, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW] [SAO, TAO, RAW, SAO/R96P, SAO/R96R, RAW/R16, RAW/R96P, RAW/R96R, Restricted Overwrite, Layer Jump] With CD inside System ----------------------- K3b Version: 1.0 KDE Version: 3.5.6-3.fc7 Fedora QT Version: 3.3.8 Kernel: 2.6.21-1.3116.fc7 Devices ----------------------- SONY CD-RW CRX216E PD01 (/dev/scd1, ) [CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM] [CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW] [SAO, TAO, RAW, SAO/R96P, SAO/R96R, RAW/R16, RAW/R96P, RAW/R96R] TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182D SB03 (/dev/scd0, ) [CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL] [DVD-ROM, DVD-R Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Jump, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite, DVD-RW Sequential, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD+R Dual Layer, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW] [SAO, TAO, RAW, SAO/R96P, SAO/R96R, RAW/R16, RAW/R96P, RAW/R96R, Restricted Overwrite, Layer Jump] K3bDataTrackReader ----------------------- reading sectors 0 to 333266 with sector size 2048.
