F7T3: Unable to Find Correct Driver for "local CDROM" Install

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm trying to install F7T3 on my Linux box and when I get to the part
where the menu says:

  Install from:
    local CDROM

I select it and then get into a driver selection list which I have no
real clue as to what to pick. (I have a LITE ON DVD RW.)

I methodically stepped through the list (still working) and nothing so
far seems to work (I just got a segv failure for the last driver).

I don't understand how the system can boot from the DVD and then not be
able to read it again. On the other hand, maybe there is something else
it is looking for: driver for what?

I need a clue as to how to proceed (I tried dhcp and couldn't get that
to work either).

Thanks.
