What kind of machine are you installing this on, exactly? I've seen somewhat similar hang problems on another x86_64 machine - it will seem to hang during installation unless you wiggle the mouse / type on the keyboard: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=232991 It'd be really helpful if could give some details about the hardware in your bug reports. For instance, the output of 'lspci -v' would help a lot. -w
