Hi, As long as I can remember the pc speaker makes a very loud beep noise when either doing tab completion or backspace in a console. Would it be possible to kill this frighteningly loud sound by setting bell-style to none in inputrc? Alternatively, does anyone know how I can kill that annoying beep when in vt2 while running the FC6/F7 DVD?
