Packages used are:

[root@localhost yum]# rpm -qa | grep yum
yum-metadata-parser-1.0.3-2.fc7
yum-3.1.3-2.fc7
yumex-1.9.3-1.0.fc7
yum-updatesd-3.1.3-2.fc7

Any help appreciated.

There are two problems.

1. there is at problem in you 'atrpms' repo file causing and error (check /etc/yum.repos.d/atrpms*.repo) 2. A missing import in yumex causing a traceback instead of exiting nicely, it is fixed in yumex SVN.
