How does the install/rescue decide if there is a valid partition table or if there is a previous version? I must have done something that it doesn't like. I have both fc5 and fc6 and it tells me that it can't find the partition table. But I am able to mount the individual partitions just fine once I get to a prompt under Linux rescue.
