Here I can't login at all to my LDAP handled account (x86_64,
pam-0.99.7.0-2.fc7) (BZ #224048).

Yes, I did clean up the *.rpmnew cruft (strangely, all the original and
.rpmnew files cmp(1)ed equal, and had the same permissions).

Besides, pam and authconfig fight over /etc/pam.d/system-auth, one wants it
a file, the other a symlink to system-auth-ac.
