Yes, and you will have a hard time to convince me that this bug is any different than https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=199600 It is conceivable that more careful packaging would help but in real life I hardly expect that packagers will be very arch specific in "obsoletes" while yum clearly has all required info.
