I only use the ipw3945 drivers that I compile myself and I don't use the ieee drivers that are related since the kernel in Fedora is new enough. The only problem I have with the drivers is that once you are connected to a AP, it doesn't seem to do anymore scanning so you can't see a complete list of APs in your area.
