This works fine on my Pentium 4 (with a single PATA disk on sata-promise and a 
software RAID 0 on the regular IDE controller). It also works fine in an x86_64 
QEMU virtual machine.

Users of out-of-tree wireless drivers will have some "fun" though. Here's some 
patches against Ralink's rt2570 2.0.8.0 (based on the fixes in the rt2x00 CVS), 
which may also be useful as a reference for those wanting to fix other WLAN 
drivers.
