What is the proper etiquette for proposing or making large changes to an existing wiki page?

I have been studying this page: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Testing

There is a lot of helpful information here, however I think it would be easier to consume, particularly for newbies, if it was reworked into 2 or 3 smaller pages. I would also propose a separate page dedicated to installing rawhide. I am volunteering to make the changes, what are the next steps I should take? :)

It would be easier for many people watching the page if you copy and make the changes in your wiki space and then copy the edits back in one go.
