I run a x86_64 system, but due to my hated enemy multilib you get both i386 and x86_64 versions installed, this is just one of the many bad things that happens quite regularly. Regardless for this one you are right, that is the cause, and I did give you all the information yum spits out. I have a feeling this was due to the skip broken plugin being employed, there was a conflict on evolution (evolution-bogofilter has not been recompiled yet) and that might cause yum to think it's okay to only update the i386 version and leave the x86_64 one - thus going boom in a rather impressive way. - David -- "Ridicule is the only weapon that can be used against unintelligible propositions.
