The parted updates and possibly mkinitrd updates broke anaconda. The version in testing also didn't work properly with the latest parted and mkinitrd. In order to do a respin with updates I ended up downgrading parted, pyparted and mkinitrd. It would be nice if anaconda were kept in better sync with its dependencies.
